2011 GOOD FRIDAY DRAMA/CANTATA Witness and experience the final hours of Jesus Christ in the dramatic and choral production portraying his trial and crucifixion. The Good Friday Drama/Cantata combines the acting talents of First Lutheran's drama ministry with the musical talents of its talented choir. Written and directed by Pr. Rebecca Craig; Choral scores feature selected pieces from Ruth Elaine Schram's "Tapestry of Darkness" cantata, as well as original music by Joseph M. Martin, Larry Shackley and Keith Getty/Stuart Towend. **Warning: Crucifixion was an extremely violent and brutal form of execution. Despite our "clean-up" and artistic license to make it suitable for a church setting, some scenes may still be too violent/disturbing for young children. Use your own judgment on whether you feel your child is ready to hear and see the anguished cries of the actor portraying Jesus as he is beaten and nailed to the cross.**
